Multicam playback stutters in v. 4.5 & 5.0

I don't recall any differences in multicam mode between 4.x and 4.5x...
try changing the number of skipped frames under the mode menu...

I have been using Edius 4.0 for quite sometime for multicam edits and have not experienced any real playback issues. When the demo of 4.5 was released I tried it but found that everytime I would have more than 1 clip playing at the same time playback would stutter. This was with the buffer set to the highest setting and audio mixer closed. I never found the problem and went back to 4.0.

With the release of 5.0 I decided to give it a shot. Same problem. The system has not changed at all, yet the newer versions can't seem to keep up with what 4.0 can.

Has anyone else experienced this or know of a work around?
