Can't change project settings

Why can't i change an existing PAL HD project to a NTSC 60Hz or 24Hz settings? They are all blanked out, did i miss somethig here?

This was never possible. Once you start with one frame rate, you can only switch between resolutions.

You need to create a new project entirely to use a different frame rate. This is how it has been since the beginning.

How did i change 50i PAL timelines to output at 24Hz in the past then when i output to Blu-ray, I clearly remember doing that, changing to 1920 from 1440 50i. Going insane? Perhaps

I used to have an NX card, I must have been able to change from hardware to OHCI properties?

Pretty darn sure it did because there was no 1920 resolutions on the hardware card- and i did get change to 1920.
