We are many users to notice something strange (and wrong) in Audio Mixer (Edius 4.61) , perharps already found elsewhere :
- open Audio mixer (only in order to read the level of every track)
- put a wave 1000Hz -12b in track "VA" : the mixer says -6db
- the same wave in track "A" : the mixer : says -12db
- export by PCE (MPEG2 ou QT) and re-import in Edius (or Sound Forge) : the level is : +3db or -6db (not -12db) , it depends ...
There is a workaround found (thank Natasha) : in the Mixer , click on every track an choose : Initialize.
This defect exists especially in OHCI mode (in my NX station, I don't notice it , but I use seldom Mixer). We have not found the reason why : sometimes it's OK, sometimes it's KO.
Is this defect solved in V5 ?
