  • HDSTORM and 3rd party hardware?

It may be a little early but can someone from TGV confirm if the HDSTORM works with 3rd party hardware like the following:

    http://www.convergent-design.com/CD_...s_nanoView.htm

    TIA!

I don't see why they wouldn't be compatible, unless they are outputting something specifically linked to HDMI v1.3 specification.

I won't have a chance to test BMD stuff until I get an HDSTORM unit, later this month.

So, the HDSTORM is HDMI v1.1 ?

      Anyway: please keep us informed!

v1.3 mandates support of HDCP, which HDSTORM does not support. Also, of course, any post v1.1 features are not supported, but backward-compatibility should kick in.

Will the card be able to update via firmware to ver. 1.x in the future (if needed), or are we then in hardware trouble ?
