Am i right in saying that the 10 bit uncompressed hd has been left out again. can the nx card and hdstorm co exist in the same machine. will there be a upgrade option for owners of nx card to get the HDstorm card.

10-bit support is definitely something we want to do, but we want to make sure it's done properly, with as little cost to the RT performance that makes EDIUS what it is.
We simply don't have a straight answer on "when" such a feature will be available, other than to say "unlikely in 5.x."
Not what everyone wants to hear, but it's a tough ride pleasing everyone, every time.
