Since we have to qualify each direct sale of an upgrade with a previous version of EDIUS, you will not be able to purchase the upgrade online.

    Yet.

I'm trying to figure out how to make this work to save us a bit of time on the processing side.

    For North American customers:
If you bought your qualifying previous version from us directly, don't worry about providing a sales invoice for the upgrade form--we'll be able to see the sale in our system attached to your account, as well as the product registered in your account, because all good EDIUS users always register their software. ;D
On the flip side of that, if you claim to have bought from us direct, and the sale is not in our system, you'll absolutely need to have a sales receipt to accompany the upgrade form.

Where can I get a copy of my sales invoice? Is this the ONLY way I can prove to GV that I am the original purchaser of Edius? If so, I will not pay full retail for an upgrade to v5.
Don't panic - just pick up the phone and call the office during business hours. We'll sort it out. :)

And the upgrade offers are world-wide offers. It's just that some territories have a form, and some require you contacting a reseller.

Do you see it in the product registry? If it is there, they should have it.

It can be checked very easily at that point.
