YES it does!! - By using the editable effects transitions and adding a colour and smoothing out - I use the multiple circles and have saved as a preset CALLED FLASH
BUT - The matt is more versitile - 6 frames with 2 fram fade in - 2 frame full - 2 frame fade out.........works well

As SoundFreak said, except if you want a 'flash' effect, then put the color matte clip ABOVE the cut point of to clips with fade in/out's.

Create a color matte in your "bin" window, choose your desired color, place it behind your video clip, apply transition, done.
p.s. You do that by right click on a empty space in the bin, select new clip, select color matte, click on the black "box" in the dialog, select the desired color, if you need more " 80's power point " like effect's repeat the color selection in the 2nd, 3rd box etc.
Select the "Number" 1 and change it to the desired amount, play with the arrow for angle change.Last edited by SoundFreak; 09-10-2008, 12:23 PM.

Fade to color (mix)
Hey,
does anyone knows how to make a fade to color (not to black) or mix ???
ex. fade to color white, to do a flash effect between 2 clips
I didn't found any thread about it.
