DVC who built and supplied my previous Matrox and curent Edius computers produce really excellent training DVDs. They provide them with every system they sell but I'm sure they'll be happy to supply them separately. Whatever they charge it's a bargain because I found it invaluable to get started. Then of course this GV Forum invariably answers specific problems.
DVC is based in Portslade in the UK. Their site is http://www.dvc.uk.com

The lack of third party teaching materials (DVD, books, online resources) especially here in the German speaking market scares away quite a few potential customers from looking into Edius.

I have the Mike's Class on Demand DVD. I was wondering if there is anything else available. I know Edius doesn't have as many materials available like FCP or Premiere, but I couldn't find anything besides Mike's ( and the manuals of course).

Besides the Class on Demand and the Edius training site, is there any other training available for Edius (books, video, etc)? These two are great, but always looking for more info and tricks. Does Grass Valley (or anyone for that matter) ever do any classes/seminars?
Thanks,
