Typically products being launched at IBC for any vendor, get launched on opening day. Which is September 12th.

There is secrecy on every version of Edius. Espcially since Rexedit 3.0:) thats a old schoolers joke for ya.

One could ask why there is so much secrecy on ANY new product that is to be launched- Like CS4 The new, Studio Pro or Blackmagic Card or Boris Purple or the amazing Sony EX5. The reason is simple. It is so that we can speculate....sadly for just another 14 days. Still, IBC is a good excuse to collect lots of pens and sweets (candy for the Non English)

Well exactly and they also have hospitality parties to gatecrash - so what with the food and a few gorgous "types" on some of the stands....however this year my wife will be with me!

If you don't like secrecy, then I guess you're not an Apple fan. I hear they don't even tell their employees about new stuff coming.
