  • Creating an .AVI

    Hi,

Sorry it's me again - having one of those days and it's only 12:00p.m.!!
Question, how do I change a couple of clips on my time line and turn them into just one, i.e. an .AVI file. I'm sure this is basic stuff - it was on my old DV Storm anyway. Thanks for your help!

Just load all your clips into EDIUS, then export them as ONE AVI. Or am I missing your question?

Hi - I have hundreds of clips in my time-line, but I just need to create 3 or 4 that are together as one AVI. Sorry If I'm confusing!

      Thanks

Set In/Out marks to cover the desired range in your sequence, then use "Print To File" and make sure the "Export between In/Out Points" option is checked.

If they only have to be used within the Edius project you could just drop them in a separate sequence and then import the sequence. If you need to export them to AVI for work in another app then the other suggestions are the way to do it.
