  • What is Edius Error Code 0x87020001?

I can't render my sequence! I get the following error message:
    Edius Error Code 0x87020001

    Any ideas?
Do I have to render the sequence before I output using Prodcoder 3 via print to file?

    Thanks in advance

No you don't have to render.

Does the disk have enough space?

Yes. The drive is 34% used (it is a 500gb Western Digital Sata II). If I do not have to render to output, then its not really a problem as I can playback using shift+spacebar. All transitions, titles and the colour corrected clips should output correctly even though the timeline has not been rendered before output?

What does the error message mean?

      Thanks again.

You asked about rendering for export to procoder not playback.

Playout and export to Prodcoder 3 are 2 different things.
For playout you would have to render sections that cannot playback realtime. (redline)

By playout do you mean print to tape via firewire? Just to check: exporting via procoder will be ok then and the timeline does not need rendering first? If that is the case then my problem is solved thank you. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

          Thank you once again.
