Playing/capuring from Sony HDR-HC3E

By using the SHX-E1 DV input I don't see any picture on the monitor. I can Play, rewind and and so on from Edius, but no picture.
Trying the same thing by using a Generic HDV input, everything is fine.
My display adapter is a Nvidia FX 3500.
What shall I look for to get a monotor picture by using the SHX-E1 DV input?

Generic HDV input is the correct choice for HDV.

If you are using a DV input you will need to set the HC3E iLink Conv to DV.
