I'm using Edius 4.6 Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to export the audio track from a project to CD . How?

Yes. Print the timeline to a PCM(WAV) file, then open that file in an audio editing application (Sound Forge, Audition, etc) and downconvert to 44Khz (from 48Khz) 16bit Stereo. Then use that program or another program such as Nero to burn the track using an Audio CD template. -
if you are using Nero Burning Rom, it will convert the 48k audio automatically to 44.1 during the CD burn processAnton Strauss
