adjusting colour...?

hi guys, is there an easy fix to adjusting colour in edius? i've shot some stuff and it's not bad quality, but the colour is a bit flat.. do you know of a way of easily adjusting it to make the colour more vibrant???

any help would be much appreciated, cheers :)

it depends on weather the color is flat as seen by you or by a waveform monitor vectorscope

in any case, add the colour balance filter and increase chroma to 20, that should be a start

Anton is correct. We shoot with a Sony Z1 and Panasonic HVX200 and both need 10 to 20 clicks of Chroma to make the picture pop a little more.... especially on hazzy days shooting outdoors. It's very important that you learn the basics of the Wave/Vectorscope. Do not try to "eyeball" it if you want a more professional result.
Use the Color Balance filter. It's easy. In general, try to keep everything between 0 to 100 using the Brightness and Contrast then add a bit of Chroma.
