  • Missing filters from trial

    Hello,
I'm using the trial (4.61) of Edius while waiting for my copy to get here from B&H. I've been following along with the explanations in the user manual, but I've run into a snag. Several of the filters seem to be missing. Key ones are White Balance and Color Wheel.

Are these filters no longer part of Edius or are they just missing from the trial? They're pretty key filters.

    Thanks,
    Panagiotis

Keyers are not filters. That is the reason they are in the keyers folder.
Look for that folder in the effects pallet.

Sorry if my wording confused you. White Balance & Color Wheel are filters. They are supposed to be in Video Filters/Color Balance. They happen to be key (important) filters, not key as in chromakey.

        Panagiotis,
These are indeed "key" filters and should absolutely be in the Filters folder. If not, I'd uninstall, delete the Edius folder (if not already deleted), restart, re-install, re-restart. All should be as expected.

        Wait a minute... isn't the trial 4.60?
        (Steve, slow down) :~)

That's the whole point of the question. They are NOT there. Is this a limitation of the trial?

Don't know I never used the trail.
              Try reinstalling as suggested

The only limitation of the trial is time (30 days) and the .01 update from the registered user area.

Something's not quite right here, as the trial includes all the available filters. The only things not in the trial are TitleMotion Pro, Varicam support and the K2/GXF stuff.

The trial is based off v4.61.
