Neat video in virtual dub ???

So far their is no plug in for "Neat Video" into Edius, the work around is using Virtual Dub, which is fine and "neat video" is fantastic for getting 12db gain down to 0db !!!.......question is how to get the compression right to output a file that isn't huge. ie 10 second clip 2gigs. (if this is off topic please pm me...thanks Gary
