So, Edius front bay capture options are different from DVStorm. This point was my confusion. Thanks for the clarification.

you can capture from the front bay providing the bay is internally connected to the NX board

but you don't use the DVcapture utility to capture S or composite, you use Edius instead

Thank you for your prompt response. Sometimes I want to use the NHX front bay to capture analog inputs.

I can do this on my DVStorm system which has StormBay with DV, S & Composite inputs.

Why can't I do the same thing with Edius and the NHX-B10 front bay which has DV, S and Composite inputs?

DV capture is only for DV, do you really need this utility?

you can capture from all inputs with Edius capture, including DV, S and composite

in order to capture S or composite from main board inputs, you need to connect a signal to the input of the main board

I have Edius NX-PCI Express with the NX Bay. When I use DVCapture 1.11, the capture options are
NHX-E2- DV
NHX-E2- S
NHX-E2- Composite

I can capture DV with DVCapture, but I cannot capture S or Composite. If I select S or composite, the capture selection switches to DV.

If I go into Edius 4.54, the capture options are
NHX-E2- DV
NHX-E2- S
NHX-E2- Composite
NHX-E2- Bay S
NHX-E2- Bay Composite

I can capture DV, Bay S, and Bay Composite,
I cannot capture S or Composite (no video seen on the Edius monitor)

How do I add the Bay S and Bay Composite as capture options to DVCapture?

How do I delete S and Composite from the capture options in Edius and DVCapture, since these options are not active?
