  • Missed frames in capture

Using DVCapture to capture to HDrive (SD). When editing on TL I noticed a few missed frames in my captured footage.
For example, if you were watching a person move their head it would show a jump, seems to have missed capturing missed 3/4 frames.

My Dvcam tape played ok and if I go and recapture the bit again it captured ok.

This has never happened before until my last 2 wedding projects. I've captured to two different HDs and still getting the same problem.
Ive uninstalled DVCaputre and installed the new version (although I'm sure it was v.1.11 I had anyhow (1.10)

    Has anyone else encountered this.

    Tony.

Sounds like maybe you need to clean your deck's heads or defrag your hard drives...
