HD Monitor with NX Question
07-31-2008, 05:15 PM
I'm setting up a system with an NX card and Expansion board. Is it required that the NX card go in a 64 bit PCI slot in order to get component output from the Expansion board to the HD monitor?
Thanks,
Bob

Yes, it is. We wouldn't have made it a 64-bit pci board if 32-bit pci could do the same thing..

Thanks for the confirmation Kenneally. I'm not having much luck finding a non-server motherboard that supports PCI-64.

You can get a server mobo and add a single Xeon CPU...or sell your NX and get the NX Express.

Or sell the NX card and get a Quadro card and use any mobo you like without restriction.
