  • Best way to read and work with VOB files?

I am preparing a batch list for a client using VOB movie clips . I am just logging "in" and "out" points for them, as in preparing a batch capture list. No ediitng involved at the moment. Edius will read the VOBs on the timeline, but at the 1hr and 40sec mark of the files, Edius stops reading the file. Any suggestions on what I could use for reading and marking the times? Having the ability to use in and out markers is what I am after. Thanks.

The best way to work with VOBs is to demux them back into their MPEG-2 elementary stream and audio components. This prevents "confusion" from language, menu, subtitle streams, etc.

That is what I thought. Thank you for confirming this. Much appreciated.
