I did a review on the Quadro cards in Vista several months ago and had a long conversation with nVidia.
MS has developed a completely new video setup for Vista that requires a new API which nVidia have designed but has not been implemented as yet. Implementation will obviously be the responsibility of the NLE software developers, companies like GV and Adobe will need to incorporate the API with new software releases. Until that happens Vista and HDTV outputs on graphic cards won't work.
As Mike says it also has a lot to do with licensing and HDCP to cut down on piracy of HD video.

I don’t know it is true or not, does anybody have idea?
    Thanks for any advice.

NVidia and ati were forced by microsoft to take this feature out of thier driver for Vista.

It makes me sad because you could of had full screen playout on the second monitor but sadly it is not going to happen.

If you are going to vista the chances are the older drivers will not work and the newer drivers on the old cards will probally not have the ability to do it anymore.

That's correct. The nVidea 7950 was the last card to support TV Out even though the connectors are still there. Many of the Quadro cards still support this connection but you have to make sure the model specifies this output.
