Edius NX FOR HDV Edius 4.61 trouble

I have a new computer with Windows XP SP3 (Before Vista SP1). Plate ASUS P5E3 Professional Workstation DDR3 1333mhz 4GB, CPU Core Quad QX9650, Nvidia 9800GX2 graphics card, RAID 640GB hard drive and power supply of 1000 W. I have installed the card and board Edius NX PCI-X 64 bit, bus and 32-bit PCI bus card for HDV, software Edius 4.61 HDV 1080 / 5 0i framework with 1440x1080, EDIUS I am not working properly, I for error and gives me: "pci bus busy occurred." The video will realentiza me, for many times what I try not working properly. With 720x576 DVCAM working properly. Do What can I do to go well for HDV 1080? Thank you

El video se me realentiza, por muchas veces que lo intente no me funciona correctamente. Con 720x576 DVcam funciona correctamente. ¿¿Qué puedo hacer para que vaya bien para HDV 1080?? Gracias

this motherboard is not compatible with the NX PCI-X...

I had the same problem and the only solution I have found is to replace the PCI-X NX board with a pci-express one...

You can also consider a different motherboard... a supermicro maybe...

The Edius NX FOR HDV PCI-X 64 doesn't goes with the P5E3 WS professional board. What's the one going well? Can you tell me the model? I've got a QX9650 DDR3 1333 mhz. Thanks

I can only suggest a supermicro board but then you will have to change the CPU, the memory and maybe the case with the psu... Buying a new NX PCI-express board would be much cheaper...

I only know that X7DA8 (and X7DAE) works very good with the PCI-X boards...

Your pci32 HDV expansion board is compatible with the NX pci-express baseboard... there is no problem there...

If this is the board that you have, you have several options.
In BIOS choose the load default settings. This is usually the generic settings that will allow you to boot properly.
1. Make sure that the card is seated in the slot.
2. Make sure that the slot chosen is not sharing with something that could affect the performance. This is listed in the manual detailing slot and sharing positions. If you are using the onboard raid, check this for sure.
3. Change to the other PCI-x slot. Might do it right off the bat.
4. Pull 2gb of ram and try it then. Does the unit recognize 3.5 of the 4gb of ram? This would be in the system properties and would say Physical Address Extension after the ram count. If it shows that, the ram should be fine.
5. If you have a very basic video card, you might want to take out the 9800GX2 and try it with something more moderate.

I have this board and yes it does work. However, the board is 2 years old.
I would try to find something with newer technology.

Everything on the board you have looks as if it will work with the NX-pci-x version.
I would start from scratch and just install the NX, the video card and turn on sound, 1 raid and a couple of the USB 2.0 ports.
Install just this and try the system out. It sounds as if you have something in there that does not play well with others.
