  • 24p Presets gone?

    Am I losing my marbles?

4.61 has no presets for 24p!
4.52 still does (on my laptop)

will try to save a 4.52/24p project and open under 4.61 and see what happens.

So instead of 6 output devices, you only have 4?

          I need a vacation!

          My stupendous bad!
I was trying to change an existing Project Setting to 24p!

Start a new Project and everybody's where they belong.

I'd swear I switched to 24p in the past... oh well.

          :~\
Confirmed... cannot switch a 24p project to NTSC or PAL!

Never could switch frame rate of a project... It's in the feature requests though.

              Hi,

I posted this question in separate thread, but got no answer. So I post here again - it is related somehow...

If I want to have a project that will finally go to both PAL / NTSC and will have material in both 1080/60i and 1080p24, what will be the best project settings to choose in the beginning?

              Thanks in advance...

Because your footage is 60i I'd make the Project Settings 59.94i and make the best of the NTSC output. 24p footage would suffer, of course. (I could be wrong, so try the 60i footage in a 24p project)

I'll bet there's no great/best way to get what you're after, but the real loser on this one will be the PAL output. (typical of any conversion) :~(
