Flip a clip upside down?

I'm trying to make a new camera-mount on a r/c heli and the easiest way is to make a mount with the camera upside down.
But is there any way to flip the whole clip 90 degrees afterwards?

If it's upside down we're talking about 180 degree. Use the mirror filter.

There is a "Mirror" effect in the Video Filters category that can do a vertical or horizontal flip, or both.

Bummer, 180 degrees is what I meant. But if I also can flip it 90 degrees, it gives me more mounting choices.

Edit: Nope, mirror does only make original left side the right side an so on. It' does'nt flip the clip upside down.

Bring up the Settings dialog for the Mirror effect, there you have the choice of how the flip the image.

If you apply the mirror filter and then you open its settings you will see that there is a choise for vertical fliping as well...

An alternative that will give you more freedom on rotanion is to use the 3d picture in picture keyer

Flip on both axes and it'll be a 180-degree rotation.

As Ari says, 3D PIP is the one.

Then you have max flexibility with what you can do with the clip.

If only heavy keyframing would not introduce such jerkiness to those inherently unstable shots you sometimes get in sits such as these. You can only go so far with bad aquisition footage.

Apply the filter & double click the entry in info box!
So you can change the direction to vertical!

BTW, could you have an eye to the first line?

That advice is somewhat stale now -- a better way to do it with current versions of Edius is using the Layouter (F7).

Indeed, using the layouter tool is the better way to turn the footage 180 degree! ;)
But I thought he asked for mirror settings & that would be different!
