  • Edius DVX and Windows XP Shutdown problem

I have a system based on Intel DP35DP motherboard with the DVX board installed and I'm facing the following problem

Everything is working good except that the system freezes at shutdown and I have to press the power button

If I dissable the DVX board from the device manager the system shutdown is normal.

I tried to reinstall the drivers, move the DVX board in another PCI slot, update BIOS but nothing changes...

    Any ideas?

Ah - haven't seen this one in a while. It's related to Power Management settings.

There should be a small utility for the DXV board somewhere in the drivers folder for it that allows you to disable power management for the device. My memory is very hazy. It's actually a throwback to the DVStorm architecture (which the DVX borrows from).

This Utility is installed and is available in Control Panel only for DVStorm and DVRaptor boards... not for DVX... Is there any other way to change the power management settings in DVX?
