This is a minor thing I've noticed recently with TM. You go and save the TM file and end up with a black screen on the timeline instead of your graphic. open the TM file back up and resave and it's fine.

has anyone else seen this?

Don't know, I always open TM from Bin window and then save it.
Drag it into timeline and everything works fine.

I also open in the bin, but sometimes when it's saved you dont see the thumbnail

Honestly, I hear this for the first time.

But wait, if there's no thumbnail, how can you even open the saved file?
