  • Exporting Prefrences

Everytime I do a fresh install I need to set Edius up the way I like it. Get my layout right, Set the still image import to 5 sec., take it out of ripple mode ETC. Is there anyway to export my settings once I get them just the way I like them?

yes, in edius 4.5 or later you can export the user profile from the start up screen... it saves everything except hardware settings...

I find that saving the profile saves bugger all

the actual layout of windows is stored elsewhere, I can save the layout from view menu to a new name, but I can't export it and use it for future use, a pain in the rear

What a perfect world it would be if All would be saved at the same place.
Then there would be nothing left to wish for ..............
