Hi, then you are one of the lucky ones, I know people too, running the newest drivers on XP machines without any problems, but I also know the opposite...I have been in contact with M-audio support, and they said there is a problem.

    Hi Steve

I can only find beta drivers for Vista, and they seem old? Is there another place to find them that ESI's official website?

    Thanks.

Please check if Edius supports the card! (Voice over!)

I use a USB-Interface of Tascam (UA-144, 2 XLR, 2 Jack and one MIDI Inputs). It works fine.

Because of USB it is much more flexible...

    Regards,

    I.

    No, I don't need that.

Basicly I nedd a good soundcard, with one output and one mic. imput if I need it, I have other PC's with input too. I just don't want a soundblaster with all kinds of extras installed for gaming, fun etc. I just want a good quality no nonsense soudcard, and I think that both the Delta 44 and the ESI Julia has this that in them.

    /Ulf
For good microphone sound maybe you need good mic-preamplifier or any micpreamp or simple audio mixing console under 100$.
    Something like this
    http://www.behringer.com/MIC200/index.cfm?lang=eng
If you use preamp, inegrated soundcard will be OK....

    Hi ulf
I also have a mic preamp for 48 volt condenser mics....
You could also set jumpers to get a balanced line in on the card, that is on the mic inputs....
Fotballl: Yes Denmark is mising the Laudrup brothers :)
But I am happy as long your country produces hof :)

Ahh ok, Johannes - that will probably settle it at the 1010 LT.

Thanks for your input too, Ludde. I see your from Sweden - you did quite well at the EU cup in football - we (Denmark) were not there at all :-( :-(

So you do not need 48v for phanthom powered mic´s.
Then i agree with Zorro Delta 1010LT is your card because of the mic preamps.
If you buy the delta 44 you will need extra external preamps.
