Good news.
Some of you may have seen my earlier posts regarding the boot-up problems that I was having with my MacPro fitted with an Edius NX card. Despite the cards having been checked by GV and found to be OK and, similarly, the Mac being given a clean bill of health the fault persisted. At last, thanks to the good guys at DVC (UK), I was able to try a new Edius NX card in my MacPro and all is now well. As an aside, how the FCP guys can put up with the very long render times in that program I do not know, they must have unlimited patience or is it that they are paid by the hour?
Thanks to all who have responded to my earlier posts.
