    open the Nero Rom panel and go under recorder and choose burn image.
    If the file is Nero capable it will burn.

    If you don't want to burn the ISO use 7zip (also free) to extract it to disk.

    If you're referring to the EDIUS v4.6 ISO image, as StormDave suggests, IMGBurn will do the job.

    That is how I tested the EDIUS ISO, in fact.

    Its real simple just open Nero buring rom, select CD or DVD, click on the burn tab, at the bottom of the burn window is a tab that says Open, select it and browse to the iso file, select it, once selected hit Open and it should take you back to the next stage of the Burn window, just hit the Burn button.

    Yes, Nero and many other applications will do that. One thing you can do is right-click on the ISO file and see what programs under "Open With..." may already be registered for this file type.
