    Audio and Transparency Nodes

    Why when I "replace" a clip on the timeline, either audio or video, do the transparency nodes or the audio nodes get trashed? Surely the advantage of replacing a clip, and leaving, say, a crossfade in place whilst you do it, is lost by removing your carefully adjusted transparency settings or audio adjustments: should be renamed " Replace and Destroy"

    Just spent 4 hours carefully copying 600 nodes - mmmm, what joy.

    Never mind, going to watch "What about me?" 1 Giant Leap at Atzaro in Ibiza tomorrow - so I don't really care - just like to grumble.

    Yes it would be great if "replace" in Edius worked exactly like "replace" in AfterEffects.

        Have you tried using the "Replace Parts" <> "Clip"!
        Works here without changing the nodes on the transparency but does replace the audio, pity.
