  • Detecting Scenes with edius 3

hello sorry if posted to a wrong sections :s i'm new here hehe

my first day using edius and ok this is the prob it's really annoying to try to cut scenes from a long video with this in and out it takes toooo much time. So is there a way to detect the scenes from a video file (mpeg) with edius? Or any 3rd program maybe? And is edius detecting scenes when you capture? or ir doesn't have this ability at all?

*i'm talking for edius pro 3*

Edius3 detects scenses while you capture, providing you have this option enabled in application settings/deck settings

it only works if you capture via firewire
