  • Adjust Volume level in Edius 4.61 with nx card

    Hi,

for some reason it is impossible to change the audio level in Edius.
When I go to windows and I change the volume in the audio control panel (master and screen input) the level stays the same..
    any idea?

    thanks

that is normal, when you use the audio out from NX, it is always at max level and you adjust the listening volume by your external amp or TV or whatever receives the sound

If that's the case, you can reroute the NX output to the soundboard, and use the regular Windows volume control.

I don't advise this from a technical/accuracy perspective, but just for regular preview it should be fine.

On the other hand, some make/models of headphones (e.g. Bose QuietComfort) will likely have audio attenuation switches, for this very situation.
