    In timeline toolbar click on T button and select create title in T1 track or right click on title track - new clip - quick titler.
    Titlemotion-pro or heroglyph is advanced titler plug-in for edius

      I think Santosh wants to make dedicated subtitles like on TV, but I don't think you find this specific feature inside Edius.
      You can of course use the title motion or quick titler, but it is not very fast
      to work with for subtitleling.
      If you are making a DVD of your project you could use subtitle workshop - I have done that with good result. Try and google it and have a look.
