  • How to set duration for multiple images in timeline

    Hi all,

I've got over 500 images in a timeline, first video track. I can change individual image duration but I want to select a load at once, but when I do then change duration it actually only changes the one image with the small blue rectangle around it.

Can anyone help? It's extremely tedious to do it one by one, I want to select a load then change duration for all at once!

I'm actually trying to sync the image switching to music.

    Hope someone can help.

    Regards,
    T

You can preset still image length via the Settings menu >application settings > duration > still image. You need to do this before loading to the tl.

Yes set duration before importing to bin otherwise set duration and captured images will be to your set length

Hi, that's a bit of a shag. Maybe a feature request? One should be able to select multiples and change the setting. Thanks for the help though guys.

        Cheers

Guys, another quick question. I've got all these in sequence now, copied the images to another track. I now what to reverse the whole sequence...can this be done?! I really hope it can. Worse case if I render the first one can I import the same video it creatres and reverse play that?

A simple tool like VideoStudio can do this, can't seem to work out how to do it in Edius. Hope you can help.

          Regards,

With photo sequence imported as a sequence in a new time line -100% speed will reverse it.....or export as an AVI and do the same.

This is a bit of a workaround though.........

Think you need a bit more forward planning and what you are trying to achieve is like falling off a log....;-)........(hope you dont mond me saying!) It will help you though......

In Edius 4.6 you dont need to reload images, change duration in application settings and put pictures again on timeline....
