Typically you need to demux the M2TS stream into separate components because the audio content, and sub picture conent will probably cause a hiccup and will require additional conversion. This can be done with a variety of free tools out there in the wild.

The video stream itself should not require any additional processing - it's either going to be MPEG-2 or AVC H.264. Both formats typically load into EDIUS or ProCoder 3 without a problem.

Of course, the usual disclaimer of not violating copyright applies here too.
(Hint: Most BD-R titles that are free of copyright, are MPEG-2 based)

    Blu Ray Conversion

    Hi,
I have a Blu Ray movie that has been ripped to the hard drive, The movie contains no Keys ect, it was ripped with AnyDVD, What I would like to know is it possible to convert this movie to Mpeg or HQ AVI with Procoder 3? and if so how would I go about doing this, also do I need to install any codecs for procoder 3 to do this.

    cheers
    Steve
