  • 4.61- 3DPIP- gone

Went to drop a 3DPIP onto a clip and it had gone. As default presets they cannot be deleted, so what has happened.
I have saved a previous 3DPIP back in its default state, into the keyers folder but now it can be deleted as it's a user preset.

    Anyone else had this?
Is there a file name for the original?

I believe it lives within the CtsKeyers.TPI file.

To restore it, I'd probably suggest (after backing up your custom keyboard settings, project presets and profiles), remove/rename the EDIUS folder found in:

    "C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Application Data\Canopus\"

This will reinitialise the EDIUS layout and configuration.

Tried that but it did not restore 3D PIP- it did remember my user preset PIP though

        Hurrr..

Have you 'unlocked' the effect pallete?

If so, maybe it's hiding in another folder?

        1. Switch to Folder view mode for the pallete
        2. Switch the view to list and order by name
        3. Scour each and every folder for '3D Picture in Picture'
