remember that DVD Creator has some advanced settings for quality such as highest quality and CBR versus VBR

If it's 2.5 hours, that should still be able to live on a single dual layered disc with acceptable quality..

Anton is right, but if you must put it on 1 disc here are the settings you should use, and only on Procoder 2 or 3
    Master quality
    VBR 2 passes
    minimum 2500kbps
    average 3885kbps
    max 5270kbps
(udner advanced tab) Intra DC precision 10

    The result are very acceptable.

I would put in on 2 disks

remember that a DVD case that holds 2 disks costs basically the same as one that holds 1

all you are up for is the cost of an extra blank disk per order

    DVD Quality

    Hey All,

I just did my first dvd with chapters in Edius and I must say it works quite well. I video dance recitals and this works great for those folks that only want to watch their little darling without having to wade through the entire event.

My question (though I believe I know the answer) is this:

Recitals are typically over two hours and the one I just finished is closer to 2.5 and I notice the quality of the video is not as good as I am used to getting. Will I be forced to put these on two discs or is there something I can change in my Edius settings prior to burning.

    Thanks as always
Working...
