EDIUS NX Express

What is the justification for price of EDIUS NX Express box. Most Canada web site has the EDIUS NX Express list for $1999 and on the Canopus website is list for $1199 until June 30.
Us $ and Can $ are pretty much on par of each others.

But I think if you import from the U.S. and get it cheaper, you can't send it in for warranty repair if it's out of the country?

I'm sure the pricing is always more expensive outside of the U.S. $1199 is a good price. Don't forget it also has EDIUS software included.
