  • How many CPUs does Edius use?

Is there any advantage in having more than 2 cores using Edius?

I have a Core 2 Quad, Edius recognizes 4 cpus at the startup but I noticed in the task manager that it doesn't use more than 2 Cores.

If it doesn't use more than 2 right now will it use in 4.5 or in future versions?

    Thanks

You're perfectly fine with a single Quad Core CPU. Maybe by version 6 it will be fully taken advantage of.

It's great to have a quad, until you realize that you are not utilizing all of the cores.

Anything is possible after 4.5. I would venture a guess that version 5 will have a lot of product inhancements. Core useage, possibly.
If you need to use all 4 cores, Premiere CS3 uses multiple cores as does AE CS3.
