I am having a problem with my timeline requiring rendering when I make even the smallest adjustments. I never had this problem before until perhapd two weeks ago. I remember on the old forum(s) lengthy discusions relative to rendering but I simply did not pay any attention to them because I didn't have a problem. It just started happening all of a sudden. Any suggestions?

what has changed in the last 2 weeks since this started happening...???have you added a program? new hardware? I recently found my firewire board was not working properly, requiring much rendering. I use external firewire drives and replaced the board and all is back to normal.Documentaries and Art Projects

Against what you say, are your project settings and your media 'compatible'. Anything changed here?
Also, if you have rendered files are your settings clearing them on prj exit, requiring re-rendering on reboot?peterC

I think that the first thing to look at is the fragmentation status of your HDDs...Fragmented drives are causing a great amount of problemsAristotelis Bafaloukos
