Which boards have a hardware DV codec?

Referring to the thread about DV codec quality: which Canopus boards had (have) a hardware DV codec on board? And has this hardware codec been improved over the years? Eg is there a difference between a RexRT and a DVX? TIA.

P.S.: the reason why customers here still use video editing hardware instead of OHCI is the possibility to preview the material on a video monitor without a time lag. 100% responsiveness.

exactly, plus with NX etc. it's full frame, full resolution, YUV, and all of this is a huge benefit over OHCI

Boards with the (same quality) DV chip:

- DVStorm series (all of them)
- DVRex RT hardware option (giving way to DVRex RT and DVRex RT Professional)
- DVRaptor RT2 series (older DVRaptor and DVRaptor RT not included)
- EDIUS DVX/DVStorm XA Plus
- EDIUS NX series
- EDIUS SP series

All other boards use the CPU for SD DV stream output

Afaik the M1 used the Sony DVBK1 codec board? A very expensive piece of third party hardware other companies also had to use at the time (Fast, MacroSystem).
