  • How to restore layout?

I saved my profile as Anton
I saved my layout as Anton

now I changed desktop refresh rate from 60hz to 75hz and Edius layout is gone back to factory preset

I can no longer apply the Anton layout because it is gone, how do I get it back

why is this not stored as part of the user profile? the User Profile Anton is still there

restoring from Ghost image now, only takes 9 minutes

recreating Edius layout and buttons and preferences the way I like it takes an hour

all buttons were also restored to default

I found the files responsible and I backed them up to another drive if it should happen again

these are in "All users" and "User" account

in both folders, look for Application Data/Canopus/Edius

back up the entire Edius folder in both locations and you have it covered

Used to use Video Machine Anton. Same deal, find the files and park them away.
            Good tip.

The other alternative is a clone of your drive setup. That works too, 'to a point'
