after highlighting several clips on the timeline how do I pull the audio volume "line" down on the highlighted clips. Thanks, Gary

You can't...you have to do it individually....or just use a graphic EQ filter to set one clip up then use that filter and apply it to all clips. -
Put them on one track and use the audio mixer to lower or raise the volume for that track.
Or Use the pan pot filter use it to adjust the volume for one save as preset draw select and apply it to all the clips.Steve
