I know there has been some discussion on this topic but I have an interesting situation.
I captured short duration HDV footage from Sony FX 7 into Edius 3.62.
I then opened a new project DV 16:9 settings and imported the original HDV footage into this.
My problem is that I can't convert this footage to Mpeg2 via Procoder Express for Edius.
I can make it into a Lossless file so I then thought I would convert the Lossless file into an Mpeg2 file but No go.
It seems to go through the right process but there is no resulting file.
This seems a bit strange to me. What am I doing wrong?
I'm simply experimenting with the new camera. I guess the other option is to downconvert the footage to DV straight from the camera.
What do you all think?
