Help with playing .vob files

I always convert .ac3 to .wav before I load the .m2v and audio together and sync them in EDIUS. Google for "BeSweet". I also use DVD Decrypter (Again, google) to rip non copyrighted DVD's into demuxed versions. Sometimes I have trouble with DVD's from set top recorders...

when you use DVD capture, the vob is correctly joined from its various parts and all access baggage is deleted such as multiple audio and subtitle streams which can all be part of the vob and will give you problems if they are
a vob file is not a video file, it is a container of many files including video

hi anton,
i always drag n drop the vob files in my time line(after i copy the vob files to internal hardisk)..i can edit it straight away..a bit slow off course.. but no green screen...sometime i just encode vob file to canopus HQ avi with procoder so that i could use it in my time line in RT.

Help with playing .vob files
Hi
I have a dvd recorded on a Sony dvd recorder.
I have copyed the vob files into the computer and
inserted them on edius 4.6´s timeline.
When playing back, the files in the preveiw window turns green.
Is there some sort of option I have to turn on or off ?
