Thanks for your thoughts Rusty, and no the three cameras are not world-clock or any other common clock synced. I have 4 sessions (shot 7 days apart) each with 5 tapes to deal with. If I can establish the clock offsets for session 1, I'll bet I can sync sessions 2-4 more quickly than just using my usual techniques. Of course that's just my opinion.

Having never used the function I'm no authority...
But unless your cameras are all world-clock synced, there's not much point. (imho)
Camera time will get you in the same ballpark as eyeballing the clips.

    Multicam Mode Sync Point

I'm using 4.62 but am confused about the Multicam Mode Sync Point function. I have 5 clips (whole tape clips) from 3 cameras. I'd like to place them on 3 lines and have Edius sync the 3 lines by time/date. It's supposed to be able to do that isn't it? I can't seem to figure out how from the finely crafted 4.5 user guide, but that's probably just me. A search of this board didn't reveal the secret either. Is there anyone here who can help me use this function? It sure would be a nice start at getting the clips in sync.
Working...
