    Thank Editpoint,
    these Vu-meters are excellent.
I have a NX linked to an amplifier which has rec-out linked to audio-card (PC)
and it works fine (vertical VU meter is the best for me)
    And the calibration is easy.

note that these VU meters will not work when using Edius hardware such as NX or SP

I think I see how to do it, but I was thinking about a plugin .like in PPro, and Avid. I am looking at something that opens in its own window that can be placed in an area on the monitors, in a vertical position....I had one some years back, but just dont know what I did with it, or where i downloaded it from.....was green, with grauation from light orange to red....looked real neat and was fairly accurate...worked with most audio programs...

you can view the Edius VU meter without timecode and place it right down the bottom of monitor and small, so it won't really block much

all done in customize section, let me know if you need clear instructions

personally, I would prefer a vertical VU meter, like Edius uses in the audio mixer

    Audio level Meter

Hi folks, can anyone tell me if there is any audio level meter plugis tat work with Edius...I need one so that I would not have to view the time code just to see the audio levels.......I had one some years back, a free download, but just cant seem to put my hands on it again.....It could be used horizontal or vertical, and was fairly accurate...cant remember where I got it either. Any help would be great
Working...
