Strange question but I didn't find answer any were... I finished to work on the project and now want to completely delete it from my computer, i.e. get rid of any files related to it. Of course I can delete corresponding directory manually, but is there way to do it properly from Edius, so project would disappear from the projects list?

the only thing that remains is the dead file in the startup menu, it can be removed but requires a lengthy process so leave it, it will automatically vanish as you start new ones
alternatively, set the recent project preferences to 1, then you never worry about thisAnton Strauss

Anton is absolutely correct... I am not sure why folks care about the recent project as they disappear as new projects are started but it is a Reg hack to make them go away and I would NOT recommend it anyone.

Correct. It's not a registry hack, but rather an adjustment to the User Profile config file, that resides in the Windows XP User's folder structure.
Namely, the "C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\Canopus\EDIUS\4.00\CurrentSettings.EXT" file.
But yes, mess around with this file at your own peril. You'll have to delete it completely if you break it, to generate a correct file.Comment
