  • insuring 16x9 Edius output to dvcam

I have a SONY DSR-11 deck and want to record from a 16x9 Edius SD timeline from Storm system - and insure that the DVCAM Master tape will keep the 16x9 format for later dubbing up to Digibeta or BetacamSP. Any issues I need to be aware of to get proper 16x9 recording on the DSR-11?

If you use a 16:9 48Khz 16bit DVStorm-RT project, it will be properly flagged on the DVCAM tape. No worries, Ive done it plenty of times :)

When they dub it back to Digibeta for example, it's upto the person that's doing the dubbing to make sure that it is 16:9. Make sure to label your tape when you give it to them.
